Youth Sports Manager and Coach
The Manager and coach are to be leaders. They hold a poison of trust and responsibility in a program that deals with a sensitive and formative period of a child’s development. A manager and coach should have understanding, patience and the capacity to work with children and be able to inspire respect. Above all, there is a need to realize that they help shape the physical, mental and emotional development of young people. If the kids have fun and view the sport as a positive experience, they will want to come back. Always speak with a positive attitude full of encouragement and praise. Practices are to be exciting using creative activities instead of boring drills. It is important to focus on the attributes that make us all better and provide guidance that allows better future results. William T. Heidig, CFP® has coached youth sports and guided adult clients in the same fashion toward kind, insightful and interactive instruction and life lessons.
